What does your regular day look like?
What do we need from a day to be well, to be fulfilled? Exercise, learning, creativity, relaxation, companionship, laughter for example.
What if we saw our daily activities as an opportunity to incorporate the things that keep us well into our day, into our life? Rather than trying to cram these things on top of all the activities and tasks we already do. Would you feel more satisfied with your day if you could do most things with the intention of being well?
‘Be Well’ Every Day
To utilise our day, as a facilitator for keeping us well and fulfilled, we need to consider doing activities in a way that allows the ‘be well’, be fulfilled’ needs you identify with, to flourish. We need to do our daily activities in a way that incorporates those needs.
This is where we see the benefits of Chi Riding. If you can include riding in your daily activities – commuting to and from work, going to do an errand in town, meeting friends, transporting of the kids/grandkids to school, music, or sport and you make that riding, Chi Riding – then you make exercise, relaxation, and learning part of your day and therefore part of your life.
Chi Riding not only improves the cardiovascular system (that is the heart), strength, posture, balance and movement, it also aids in relaxation, focus, breathing and core stability. Have a think about how you might include the elements you identified into some of your other daily activities like cleaning, cooking, work etc. There will be many days where you will want or choose to do specific activities that target your ‘be well’ needs, which is great, the key message here is we often underutilise life.
