Chain Breaker - Bike Chain Tool

Solution for... repairing any unexpected chain problems when you are out riding. This bike chain tool should be carried as part of your tool kit and used to repair your damaged chain (it is  recommended that you also carry a spare chain link that matches the size of the chain you have). Can also be used for at home maintenance and repairs.

Features: Removing a pin/rivet from your bike chain requires some force... so we searched for a tool that was lightweight and portable but comfortable to use and well designed.

Spare Bike Chain Link

Solution for... a spare chain link that is compatible to the chain you have on your bike.   Carrying this link allows you to easily fix a damaged bike chain while out riding.  If you choose to carry a spare link along with a chain tool you know that a damaged chain will not hinder your ride.

Features:  KMC missing links are compatible with KMC, Shimano and Sram chains.  Available in chain drive range from 11 down to 6/7/8. Spare chain links are also part of the mountain bike and touring tool kits.  See description below for more information.

We wanted a chain tool that was comfortable to use as chain tools require you to use some force. A tool that is portable and durable and will ensure success when you need it to work! The fabric chain tool was the tool that ticked all the boxes - Lightweight / Durable / Portable / Comfortable to use so you can generate the force you need. Along with carrying a spare chain link this combo gives you an easy fix for a damaged bike chain while out riding and it won't effect your ride home.

Fabric Bike Chain Tool

  • Compatible with 8, 9, 10 11 & 12 speed derailleur chains. If you have a derailleur - count the number of sprockets in your rear cassette is there  8, 9, 10, 11, 12  = compatible.   Learn more at Know your bike chain

(One exception this tools is not compatible with the peen Campagnolo® 11-speed chain rivets)

  • Lightweight at 118 grams so a perfect take-along chain tool
  • Easy to use with a comfortable smooth cylindrical grip and a comfortable lever - helping to generate enough force (torque) to easily push out the pin or rivet
  • Portable Size of the tool : Length - 60mm, Width - 52 mm
  • Aluminium body and hardened steel pin. Pin is replaceable and the comes with a spare pin.

 

Spare Bike Chain Links

A spare chain link that is compatible to the chain you have on your bike.  Count the number of sprockets in your rear cassette. For example 10 = 10 speed bike and you need a 10 speed spare chain link.
