Mid Mount Seat for E-Mountain Biking

Solution for... riding with your child (2-5yrs) seated on the top tube of your mountain bike between your arms (or Dad's). The best seat in the Shotgun range of mid mount seats.  Great interaction with each other while riding the trails. Designed in New Zealand this fully adjustable - both seat and leg length can be changed - is ideal for our unique and beautiful mountain bike destinations.  Enjoy easy trails and flowing tracks with your child.

Features: With its unique bar attachment system that does not touch your frame this seat is designed to work on ANY mountain bike including wider E-Bike frames.  A quick release system allows you to quickly remove the whole seat so you can use your bike without the seat or attachments.  The bar is placed between your seat post (14mm of space, compatible with dropper posts) and your handlebar stem (10mm of space, not compatible with Quill stems).

Features: a secure, safe place to hold onto.  Impressive custom 19mm kids grips on wide (330mm) riser handlebars.  Super quick attachment/detachment with quick release system.  Fits 31.8 and 35mm flat or riser style handlebar diameters with full rubber handlebar protection.

Ideal seat for riding with young kids on easy, flowing mountain bike tracks

This seat is New Zealand designed for use on mountain bike frames. Will it fit my mountain bike?  Simple answer is YES... Shotgun have not found a mountain bike that they can't mount one of their seats on. Find out more here

Recommended for 2 to 5 years. Note: Children under 3 will need to have good balance and bike awareness to ride in this seat

Adaptable to any mountain bike or trail bike frame.  Note: people with small bike frames struggle to ride comfortably with a child in a mid mount position

Adjustable leg length to cater for growing kids

Adjustable seat angle for flat or sloping top tubes

Every seat now has rubber foot-straps included (new for 2019), to keep your child's feet secure whilst riding but designed to break away in the event of a crash

Fitting requires 10mm of clearance under the stem. Bikes with stems shorter than 50mm in length may require additional clearance under the stem, the minimum clearance required is indicated in the diagram below.

The Shotgun Pro includes two spacers, for use on two bikes. Installing the Shotgun Pro spacer replaces 10mm of standard steerer spacers on your bike.

Please note that adaptors for use with Trek Knock Block and Scott Syncros headsets are sold separately. The Shotgun Pro is not compatible with bikes that have a quill stem.

The entire seat and fixings are completely removed quickly (20-30secs).

Designed to fit 31.8mm & 35mm adult mountain bike handlebar diameters - kids handlebars are attached to adult handlebars

Suitable for flat or riser style handlebars usually found on mountain bikes.  Stems up to 60mm in width
