Chaffing & your saddle…
Key things to know about chaffing problems is that they occur with time on the bike. Caused by friction and heat created between two surfaces. Good pedalling technique and a saddle that allows this good technique because it is the right shape. As well as the correct shape for weight transfer through the right place – support under your sit bones.
Best way to solve this problem is to match your saddle to your body width and the type of riding you are doing. The longer you spend on the bike the more need you have for a saddle that allows room for your leg to pedal. Don’t create problems by wearing clothing that is not designed for endurance riding (any rides over 45min to an hour).
