Handlebar Grip Measurements

To get the right length handlebar grip you can make a measurement.

To do this place a ruler or tape measure along the length of the current grip you have on your handlebars.  Take the measurement in millimetres.  Also take note of anything on the handlebars that is placed right next to the grip – would this stop you fitting a slightly longer grip?

Grips come in a variety of lengths starting at 100mm for toddler grips and working there way up to adult grip sizes that are 130 to 140mm

Getting the right size grip is usually about matching up your hand size to a length and diameter so that the grip will fit the natural shape of your hand.  So it’s better for people with smaller hands – women – to get a shorter length and small diameter.
