How to Measure for Correct Size
Youth Boys Boxer goUnders are a fitted underwear. Our sizing may be different to your underwear size …so please measure.
To get the right size you need to know your waist & hip measurements.
WAIST MEASUREMENT …
Find the natural crease line of your waist.
Stand straight with your hands at the side. Bend sideways running the hand down the outside surface of the leg. This movement will produce a crease at the waist
Return to standing and wrap the measuring tape around your body at this crease line.
HIP MEASUREMENT …
Measure approximately 18cm down from the waist.
From where you took your waist measurement let the measuring tape hang down the length of your body.
At 18cm down wrap the tape around your body.

Tips for Measuring
- Use a flexible measuring tape (if you don’t have a measuring tape use string and then measure against a ruler)
- For an accurate measurement
- the measuring tape should sit snug next to your skin.
- do not measure over loose bulky clothing
- make sure the tape is level around your body…to achieve this, get help or measure in front of a mirror.
Youth Boy goUnders
Youth Boy goUnders are a firm and fitted style underwear. The waistband sits between the hips and waist. The inside leg length is 2.5cm meaning the front of the goUnders crosses the upper thigh. These goUnders are designed for 11-14 year olds before they develop a mans body shape. This age is only a guide, everyone is different.
If your tween is tall they will prefer the height in the Mens Small.
Common Questions
My pre-teen or teenage boy doesn't fit these sizes
The Youth Boy goUnders are designed for that small period of time when your pre-teen or teenager is too big for kids sizes but hasn’t developed the body shape or height of a man (11-14yrs). If they are measuring larger than the Youth sizing please go to the Mens Boxer Size Guide. It is the same style with sizes starting at a Mens Small. If these measurements are too big, please go to the Kids goUnders Size Guide.
I measure between sizes.
We would recommend the larger size. The fabric of goUnders provides a good amount of stretch and compression The larger size will be more comfortable to wear and still provide the firmness needed to hold the padding (chamois) in place
My hip & waist measurements are different sizes.
goUnders are designed to be a firm fit so we would suggest going with the larger of the two sizes you measure at, especially if the larger size is your hip measurement.
Can I exchange my goUnders for a different size or style?
You can exchange your goUnders for another size at no cost. We have made exchanges easy for you. Simply follow our returns process . Please contact goRide via email, hello@goRide.co.nz, include your order number and the word RETURN in the subject line and we will send a prepaid courier label back to you via email with instructions for contacting the courier. Please include the returns slip sent out with your purchase detailing your exchange.
