Solution for… short term hire of a Rear Seat Frame Mount, from 1 week to 3 months allowing your family to ride together. Recommend age range for child using this seat is 1 to 6 years. Keep them safely tucked in behind your body in a secure harnessed seat.
Hire Overview: Comes with everything you need to attach a rear seat to your bike frame at the seat post tube. Choose the hire period that suits your families needs. Available for 1 week ($40.00), 1 month ($60.00) or 3 months ($135.00). Additional weeks can be added to these set hire periods.
Attachment: A large profile must be clamped around your seat post tube. Tools needed are included with hire. You will need 20-40 mins to initially attach this seat to the adult bike & make fit adjustments. Detachment will be easier, allow 20 mins.

Please Note: All seat & tow products have a set deposit that is charged in addition to the hire cost. This deposit is held as security for return of the item in reasonable condition to goRide on the, agreed to, return date. The deposit for the Rear Seat is $80 and will be refunded in full if all Hire Terms & Conditions are met. Â

Fill out the Hire Request Form. Found by clicking the Black Arrow on this page or the Green Button on the Options & Pricing Page
goRide processes your request and checks availability. We will let you know as quickly as possible if there is an issue with the dates you have requested
If we have Rear Seats available we will send you a quote with full product description and adaptors/accessories requested, dates of hire (start date and return date), cost to hire and the deposit required for the seat/tow you are requesting
You then need to accept this quote. This will generate an invoice which will be sent with a due date for payment
Once your payment is made your Hire Request will be in our system as a Hire Order and all Hire Terms & Conditions apply
You can cancel your order for a Rear Seat up to 7 days before the start date of your Hire Order
Your Rear Seat will arrive on or before your Start Date. Once it is received please read and check through all paperwork provided. It is important to check you have received all components/parts and any additional adaptors or accessories requested. You will need approximately 20-40mins to install the Rear Seat
Enjoy your Rear Seat for the period of your hire, using it as often as possible!
You will receive a Reminder of Return email 5 days before your seat is due back with us. Please follow all the instructions in this email to ensure the seat is returned on or before the Return Date

We recommend that a simple tool kit is taken with you when you ride, to make any adjustments needed at the points of attachment to the bike (Allen key that comes with the seat)
The Rear Seat can be removed from the adult bike leaving the clamp & profile on the adults seat post tube.
