For your riding comfort it is important that the underwear allows movement & performs for the activity of biking
Bike goUnder Design Features that allow movement & performance include:
- A carefully shaped leg for unrestricted pedalling motion.
- A garment that is firm on the body providing slight compression (it must stretch to sit on your body). This means the whole garment as well as the padding/chamois is held in place with movement.
Bike goUnder Fabric Features that allow movement & performance include:
- The use of a soft, durable stretch fabric. The high elastane content is comfortable against the body and will let the fabric move with you.
- This performance sport fabric & chamois will wick moisture and transfer it away from your body, encouraging airflow and allowing the underwear to dry quickly.
For your riding comfort it is important that the (pad) chamois is kept in place and does not drag, droop or slide
Bike goUnder Design Features that keep the chamois in place include:
- More body coverage than your normal underwear particularly around the junction between leg and body, and the lower butt area. The extra fabric helps to keep the underwear in contact with your skin and prevents the chamois from drooping at the rear.
- The position of the pad has been carefully trialled and tested. The pad position is extremely important for both comfort on the bike and when walking around off the bike.
- Designed as a fitted (stretch to get it on) underwear keeps the pad and leg hem in close contact with your body.
Bike goUnder Fabric Features that keep the chamois in place include:
- The stretch and recovery of the fabric keeps the underwear and padding in contact with your body as the addition of elastane in the fabric strengthens it, and enables the fabric to hold shape.
Bike goUnders
All our goUnders are made from a fabric that has a 4 way stretch giving you a great fit with ease of movement. A firm/strong fabric known for its ‘hold in’ sensation, giving the body smoother contours and great support, as the fabric has a mild lift and compression effect. It is long lasting/very durable and doesn’t shrink, pill, fade, or lose shape.
Briefs
- Designed with a longer length in the back helping the underwear tuck under and fully cover your bottom
- The hem line at the back is supported with a light elastic (also used in swimwear) to add strength and prevent the chamois dropping
- A great leg shape at the front across your leg crease allows unrestricted movement when pedalling
- A flexible wide waistband of double fabric keeps the underwear firmly but comfortably fitted onto your body
Boy Leg
- Designed to sit further down the body, covering the hips, your bottom and upper legs.
- The underwear is secure at the waist and hem with a relaxed mild pressure which suits movement on & off the bike
- A popular style with youth and more familiar shape for mountain bike riders
- Features a very soft, breathable, flexible chamois that again allows movement on the bike
Mens Boxer
- Designed with good body coverage. Sitting high at the back and lower at the front, includes a 2cm leg length
- The extra fabric allows a longer length chamois to be held securely, protecting soft tissue and cushioning over the sit bones
- The underwear is secured at the waist and hem with a relaxed mild pressure to be comfortable on the bike for a wide range of mens body shapes
- A very similar shape to modern underwear so will appeal to most teenagers and men
Kids Boxer
- Designed to sit securely across the lower body, covering the hips, bottom and upper legs.
- The underwear features an exposed colourful waistband to secure the garment while allowing movement on the bike
- Sport mesh side panels for airflow and a pop of fun colour
- Kids specific chamois for appropriate protection without bulk
