Padded Pant – Youth Girl/Women – Sizing Guide
Padded pants in youth to women sizing. Measuring is an important part of online shopping so you can get the right fit.
3/4 Padded Pants Measurements
Our 3/4 padded pants are made from a synthetic and stretch fabric which gives a great four way stretch so that you will be comfortable and able to move freely. Â All our Womens Capri’s have a cycling chamois sewn into the crutch.
To get the right size you need to know your waist & hip measurements. The best way to measure is with a tape measure.  If you don’t have a tape measure use a piece of string or some wool then lay this out along a ruler.

Firstly you will need to find your waist.
To find the natural crease line of your waist, stand straight with hands at the side.  Then bend sideways running the hand down the outside surface of the leg.  This movement will produce a crease at the waist so place your measuring tape on this crease.  Return to standing straight and place the tape measure around your waist at your crease point (usually the narrowest part of your torso).
Your hip measurement is found…  approximately 18cm down from the waist. Let the measuring tape fall down your body to the floor to find the 18cm mark. Move the measuring tape to this point then wrap it around your body. Make sure it is straight all the way around.

Common Questions
I measure between sizes.
Think about a couple of things.Â
- How this product is designed to fit across your hips & butt. The Casual style is a relaxed fit and will be stretcy. The Endurance style is a compressed fit so you may need to go up a size.Â
- What is your body shape? Is your body shape fairly straight up & down? Or below where you took your hip measurement, do you continue to curve out? If you tend to be more straight up and down choose the smaller size, if you are curvy go for the next size up (most of us NZ girls continue to curve out!).
My hip & waist measurements are different sizes.
3/4 Padded Pants are designed to be a fitted pant so we would suggest going with the larger of the two sizes you measure at, especially if the larger size is your waist measurement.
Everyones body is different and growth rates and shapes are different. If your teenage girl does not measure into the youth sizes please see the Womens Padded Pant Size Guide.
