Best way to solve this problem is to find the seat that is right for your body and the riding you do. It is about finding a saddle that matches so we recommend identifying your Rider Profile and discovering your saddle match – do this by reading your rider profile
The right saddle is an important part of your bike seat comfort but there are others things you can do to help. Please visit our Comfort on my Bike Seat guide which covers this large topic comprehensively.

Successful Bike Path Riding & More Gear…
Key things to know is that you don’t need a whole lot of fancy stuff when you first start to ride… or even after riding for a long time. It is easy to choose clothing that allows movement and isn’t dangerous. There are a few simple things you want with you every time you ride like water, some tools and a jacket.
Best way to add to your gear list is to match your gear to the weather. Being wet or cold on a bike is never a pleasant experience so taking or wearing a jacket is a great idea.
Having clothes that make you feel good and positive about riding is a sure way to help you to continue to ride. Layering is an important concept and depending on the season you will need a base, mid and outer layer to keep your upper body comfortable.

Successful Bikepath Riding & Maintenance/Tools
Key things to know about your bike is that you do need to look after it. Once you have made the decision to invest in owning a bike it is up to you to have a routine in place to keep yourself safe on that bike. Spotting problems before they occur will make your riding trips far more enjoyable.
Best way to solve this is to clean your bike with easy to use and natural products. As you clean and handle your bike you will become more confident with it. Keep grit and dirt from building up in your chain and the parts of your bike that the chain touches is a really important job for all bike owners.
Tools will get you home quickly and safely. But you must know how to use them if you are going to carry them. We recommend the basics to start with so you can fix a flat or punctured tyre.
