Where does it attach?
You will need to be able to attach a traditional bike carrier to your bike. It has 2 attachment points via eyelets on the seat post stay and around the rear dropout please see photos.

Will it fit your bike?
There are 2 things to consider
- Will the rear bike carrier fit on your bike?
- Is the carrier compatible with the rear kids bike seat so you can successfully clamp the seat to the carrier?
Will a Rear Carrier Fit on your Bike?
To fit your bike a rear bike carrier needs to match your wheel size and the type of brake system on your bike.
1.What are the size of your wheels? Do you have 26″, 27.5″, 29″ wheels? You must match the carrier to the size of your wheels. Check the writing on the outside of your tyres.
2.What brake system do you have on your bike? Disc brakes or non-disc brakes?

Writing on the outside of your tyres… is it 26, 27.5, or 29?
Do you have disc breaks? If yes then you need a disc brake carrier… no then you need a non disc brake carrier.
Will a Rear Kids Bike Seat Fit on your Carrier?
For a Rear Bike Carrier to be compatible with a Carrier Mount Rear Bike Seat it must have the correct width and load capacity.
The width of the bike carrier needs to be anywhere between 110mm-170mm for the Thule Maxi and 120mm-170mm for the Urban Iki. Carriers with these widths will be narrow enough for the clamp to attach around the rails.
The carrier must be able to carry a load of greater than 22kg.
Width of carrier must be 110- 170mm and have a load capacity of greater than 22kg.
